This painting is created on a canvas using an experimental mixture of plaster and acrylic, shaping the canvas to divide the space. One half is chaotic, while the other half is more muted, with the raised sections flowing down to pass through both ends. The work is full of perceptual interaction, blending ambiguous body perception (researched from Merleau-Ponty phenomenology of perception) with conscious space, merging the known and unknown. Depending on viewer ‘ s own experience and associations, one may read it as a body, a natural landscape, or even a completely abstract image of consciousness.
