This work presents a naturally flowing visual language, explores the relationship between the mechanical structure and nature, aiming to bring awareness to the constructed human society from returning to nature. Highlighting the contrast between manmade(the chemical reactions of glaze, iron nails.../constructed system) and organic (natural material and physical rules-rope absorbing ink to transport ink to the other components from the container, ink flowing by gravity). The primary material is porcelain, with an emphasis on the fluid and layered characteristics of fluid glazes combines with underglaze techniques. The upper layer of ink enhance the visual impact of the changes and flows within this system through ropes and porcelain surface, creating unique texture effects.
The inspiration comes from studying The Spectacle of Society and The Language of Landscape, exploring the relationship between nature and its shaping influences, constructed meanings from society.
